Celebrity Ship In Bilbao
Some luxury cruises recently left UK to different destinations such as Amsterdam, France, Germany and Spain to help the stranded passengers as all the airports were closed. One of them was cruise ship Celebrity Eclipse. They cancelled their launch on April 22nd to help the UK travellers who were stranded because of the volcano in Iceland.
Many people from the UK went abroad for a holiday to celebrate Easter with their family but they have been stuck their because of this. Most of them found a way back to UK but a lot of them were stranded abroad. Celebrity Eclipse cruise ship arrived in Southampton, UK on the 20th of April and then was off to Spain to pick the travellers. It departed to Bilbao, Spain to pick up over 2,000 vacationers.
The ship dedicated to the UK, helping the UK citizens stranded abroad is a great gesture and help from the cruise ship. The question is why didn't they made their way home by train or ferry earlier, the answer to that is not everyone had money to spend on other transports. This gesture from the celebrity cruise ship will definitely come as a surprise to them but something that they dearly require. We saw many British citizens with a smile on their faces after they heard the news. Many said they were relieved to know that they were going home and a big thank you to Celebrity Cruise staffs and management teams for helping them. Some are already planning ahead and thinking of using Celebrity cruises for their cruising holiday.
For me my next holiday will definitely be with Eclipse no matter if it is to silversea cruises or voyages of discovery, I will definitely be cruising with the vacationer saver cruise ship haha. Celebrity eclipses have also won the award of the most trusted surveys of consumer travel preferences in the World, long name award name though. This is another one of the cruise ship's great achievement. They are definitely building their reputation in a positive manner.
For mountain biking experts: What bike should I buy?
I am a beginning mountain biking enthusiast, looking to purchase my first mountain bike. I would like to ask all of you experienced riders and bike experts which mountain bike to buy. From all of my friends who are riders, the things I know I want are:
Disc braking (front & rear)
Full suspension (Will be doing a lot of downhill, and the rear suspension is just a back saver.
The first bike I found that a friend suggested was the K2 Sidewinder. So that's one option. Some stats on me: I'm 6'1 280lbs. Big-framed, will need a sturdy bike.
My budget is $500. I would go as high as $600 for the perfect bike. I plan to add better components down the road if it's something I stick with and really enjoy.
Thanks for your help and suggestions!
I sell K2 bikes (although discontinued) and personally I wouldnt waste your money on that one. I certainly would never upgrade the parts on it as it will still and always be a $500 "not so full suspension" bike. What you want does not exist at your price range in a REAL full suspension bike. Any full suspension bike that is worth a damn has an active pivot suspension like GT's I Drive or Mongoose's Free Drive or Iron Horse's DW Link (formerly IH) . This is a real full suspension bike: http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1073893_-1_23000_20000_23003 in the sense of full suspension (sorry to all you Mongoose haters) and this is the least that I would pay for a full suspension bike: http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1027903_-1_400308_400001_400311 any less than this for this price is absolute junk although useable, not a good ride at all. You will likely need a 21" frame but that is conjecture on my part you might be fine with a 19" too....Full sus. is not there to "save your back" its there to keep those wheels in contact with the surface as much as possible and the better the bike the more likely it is to do just that and efficiently too. Believing that a f/s bike is there for your comfort is NOT the reason to buy one! If you want something to upgrade then I would suggest you buy one initially that is actually worth upgrading in the long run.
New Tiger Dotel an enery-saver for Benoit, Valverde (Detroit Free Press)
The back end of the Tigers' bullpen is set. Closer Jose Valverde is fresh off
his best season -- 49-for-49 in save opportunities. Set-up man Joaquin Benoit
shook off early troubles last season before pitching lights-out over the last
four months of the season to compile a 2.95 ERA.
A antique farm equipment or a EMP proof WROL back saver.
