Drive a Citroen Berlingo Today
The Citroen Berlingo is continuing to be a popular choice for fleet operators. The Berlingo has recently been awarded the Fleet Vans best in class trophy and the car maker, Citroen, reports that the Berlingo accounts for 49.7% of the carmakers sales and Citroen lease contracts.
The Berlingo has recently undergone some significant renovations that will help ensure that this van continues to remain a favourite with commercial fleet managers and drivers alike.
Here in the United Kingdom there are two versions of the Citroen Berlingo van. These are the L1 and L2. The L1 version has been widened by 80mm and extended by 240mm. This compact van now boasts a larger load area and increased weight capacity. The load area can be extended even further by folding down the passenger seat enabling the Berlingo to accommodate even longer items.
The recent modifications are not limited to the vans carrying capacity. The new Berlingo is more stylish, modern and aerodynamic resulting in less internal noise when travelling. Both the headlights and the rear lights have been moved to lessen the risk of minor damage and the windscreen has been enlarged providing improved visibility. Inside the Berlingo you will now find more storage facilities in the central console, behind the drivers seat, larger door pockets and a passenger side glove compartment.
But its the Berlingo LX that presents one of the most outstanding new features for a van of this size. The new feature is called Extenso Seating and it provides a useful third seat in between the front two. The Berlingo is the only van in its class to offer this outstanding three seat feature.
The standard Berlingo boasts a whole load of features that you would ordinarily not expect to find in vans at this price or in this class. These include heated wing mirrors, electric windows and of course a good radio and CD player.
You may expect a van packed with these excellent features to be expensive. But you will find that, if you shop around, you can find this van at some very competitive rates. You can get a Citroen van lease deal from as little as £170 per month with various options including van lease purchase.
Do you think that lighter gloves, smaller ring and longer rounds could bring boxing back to life?
Yes i know this is not the boxing section. But i have read alot of great and insightful answers to some pretty interesting questions from the martial arts section.
That's not a bad question, really. It would push the speed of the fight, open up defense more making for more dangerous/damaging attacks (from hockey to football to fighting, everybody loves offense...), and push the fighter's conditioning.
That said, I think boxing's problem is the way it has held onto its wholly dysfunctional promotion system. Too many promoters, too many belts from god knows how many organizations, and WAY too many paper tiger opponents who are just there to pad a fighter's resume. Boxing could learn a lot from MMA.
Force Flyer accelerometer-controlled RC helicopter, we go gloves-on (Engadget)
Being able to wave your hand through the air and control a physical object --
as if by magic -- is everyone's dream. And if you say it's not yours, then you
sir or ma'am are a liar. That's why we _had _to stop at the Regal Elite booth
on the floor at Toy Fair. The company was showing off the Force Flyer, an RC
helicopter you pilot with an accelerometer-equipped glove. The patented tech,
called Glove Force Technology, adds a level of physical interactivity that's
more Wii than RC. A small joystick you hold in your palm controls thrust,
while tilting and moving your hand through the air gets the chopper to perform
acrobatic maneuvers -- or plummet to the ground if you're an Engadget editor.
The Regal Elite staff seemed to have pretty good control of the Force Flyer,
which gives us hope that our difficulty in keeping the toy airborne was due
more to our lack of familiarity and not with the quality of the device. The
glove controller on hand was still a prototype (as is much of what's on the
floor at Toy Fair), hence the New Balance ...
