greenhouse , carbon filter or ozone generator for odor?
carbon filter or ozone generator installment ON A GREENHOUSE?
hello i am planing on installing a carbon filter on my greenhouse, or getting an ozone generator.
my first options would be an inline exhaust fan for fresh air directly in the grow room and an fan to get the air out , thinking to put an ozone generator to clean the air.
my second option i am thinking about putting an inline and outline , have an inline connected to the carbon filter to remove the odor.
which way is more effective and can you tell me how to do it , if its carbon filter + exhaust+ tube, or just an inline to bring in fresh air and put an ozone generator to clean the odor and than a fan to take the air out of the grow room
Here is what you should do. I will also explain why. Mount an in-line fan in the grow area, on the suction side install a carbon filter, on the other side install some flexable duct and exhaust out of the grow area. Try to run the exhaust air to the outdoors. Do not push air into the area, suck it out. Air can come into the area in many ways depending on your situation. Maybe thru an a/c vent. Even without a/c running you can draw air thru it. Change carbon about once a year. If fan needs to be really quiet, invest in a good one instead of the ones available at Home Depot etc. You can move lots of air this way which the plants need. Ozone is very unhealthy at levels sufficient to get rid of smells. Done right, the way described will work perfectly. Be flexible and inventive and give it lots of thought before you start and you will do just fine. Google "carbon filter" for instructions on how to make a good one. My friend did it this way and it worked great. Have fun with your garden.
The Daily Drivers: Civic Si is revved-up fun to drive (St. Petersburg Times)
**By Peter Couture and Lyra Solochek, Times Staff Writers**
Thursday, January 12, 2012
**Appearance:**** **For 2012, Honda's redesign for the Civic was more of a
tweak. The body got a few more curves, and the shape of the grille changed
slightly for a more aggressive and streamlined look. The chiseled rear has an
integrated spoiler. Our tester's Dyno Blue Pearl paint was set off by the Si's
17-inch V-spoked alloy wheels and a chrome exhaust tip. The overall effect is
sporty, but subtle -- only a few Si badges and i-VTEC decals hint that this is
not the standard Civic.
**Performance: **Most of the changes to the Si took place under the hood, with
the high-revving 2.0-liter inline-4 replaced by a 2.4-liter iVTEC 4 that's
used in the Acura TSX. The horsepower output ticked up slightly from 197 to
201, but the most noticeable change ...
