Cheap Holidays To Spain: The Verdant Parks Of Madrid
If you are looking forward to enjoy cheap holidays to Spain, then you should not fail to visit the parks in Madrid, the capital of Spain. These places offer sightseers lots of opportunities for them to get their cameras out and take images of some of Spain's most amazing sites.
Here are some of the plazas that you should not miss when enjoying your cheap holidays to Spain.
1. Puerta del Sol
Puerta del Sol is both the geographical center of the capital and the center of Spain. Head out to the marker on the pavement in front of the Ayutamiento Building. All road distances in Spain are measured from this marker, which marks Kilometre Zero. Don't be surprised if there are lots of people here; it is Madrid's most popular meeting point.
2. Plaza Mayor
Just a two-minute walk from Puerta del Sol is Plaza Mayor. It was first constructed in the 15th century as a city square. Then it became the city's focal point for festivals, bullfights, and festivals after Philip II named Madrid as the capital of Spain. Today, it is a lively commercial center with a fine selection of bars, restaurants, shops, and business establishments. You can also see skilled artists hanging out and working on their masterpieces around this plaza.
3. Royal Palace
When on hotels in Spain, be sure to drop by the Royal Palace, a gardened property where the Spanish Royal Family hold functions and important events. The place is open to visitors, and private tours of the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum are available.
4. Parque del Retiro
If you want bliss in the middle of the city, then Retiro Park is for you. It is a peaceful plaza where you can rest and relax after a long city hike. On Sunday mornings, you can see residents of Madrid enjoying their leisure time or strolling around. You can find people jogging, reading newspapers, or drinking coffee on a fine day. If you want, you can also row around the man-made lake in a boat that you can hire.

Where do I find a row marker? It is made out of metal with string.?
The string wraps around one stake and the other stake goes at the end of the row where it has a notch for you to tighten the string on.
Any good gardening shop or centre.
But it is just as easy to make your own. I`ve been gardening all my life, with just a piece of string and two pegs.
You can make it in 5 minutes.
Crystal Bell: 'Revenge' Recap: A Secret That Will Live In 'Infamy' (TV Squad)
**Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 1, Episode 12 of ABC's
"Revenge," entitled, "Infamy."**
For the second week in a row, ABC's "Revenge" has toyed with gunplay. But this
week, Emily Thorne was the one wielding the gun. Mason Treadwill, the bow tie-
loving author who wrote the tell-all crime novel about Emily's father is back
in the Hamptons, and he's Emily's next target.
But before we delve into this week's revenge plot, can we please address
tonight's big shocker? Okay, so I may have seen this one coming, but that
doesn't make it any less gasp-worthy. Emily discovers her father's dirty
little secret: Charlotte Grayson is David's daughter -- and her half-sister
... and her boyfriend's half-sister.
While I can't say that it was a complete shock, I applaud "Revenge" for not
stringing us all along for an entire season before blowing the lid off of the
Hampton's worst kept secret. Perhaps the real question now is how Emily will
deal with this information, and how will it affect her plot to destroy the
Graysons.
What Victoria Grayson wants, Victoria Grayson gets. So when Mason comes to
town, she sees it ...
