How To Keep Your Brain Healthy As You Age

You have had proof over the years that your brain is healthy and functioning properly by simply showing that you are learning from your mistakes. When you were trained or taught in something your brain improved. So the result is a more productive life you lead. The longer you live the more new talents and skills you accumulate to help you live a healthier life.

When you were younger your brain acquired a great deal of information and learning. Whenever you learned a new skill you were acrtually strengthening your brain. Just think that you get better with the more practice you get, this happens as you age. Your education and training over your life really increase your talking capabilities. Since extreme sress or harmful stress levels can really just about destroy a brain's proper functioning, you need to make controlling stress a priority.

Not always mind you but getting older often means one's getting wiser. The opportunities and challenges on top of decision making helped to improve your brain. Always be prepared for the different challenges life throws at you and have a positive attitude.

The brain functions through more information being put into it, and it also ties the different parts of your body together so that is functions correctly. Nobody gets too old to be able to learn new things when your brain remains healthy.

Keeping relationships with family and frieds active as you age benefits your brain health so much. You can feel confident here knowing that the more contact you have with friends and family the better your mind will perform. Brain processing can be sharper as you age even from learning from others close.

Watch what you eat as you age especially if you want to be brain healthy. Consume numerous green leafy vegetables and all sorts of fruit. Veggies supply your brain with nutrients enabling it to function properly. Vegetables can even ward off cancer so this is not a surprise.

Vegetables and fruits are packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals on top of being low with the calories and fat. A benefit of antioxidants in your body is the reduction damaged or dieing cells in your body. Blueberries can naturally help with some memory function.

Your Anti-aging exercise has to have specific mind brain exercises included. If you have trouble recalling anything now, do not worry as you can always get better no matter what age you are at. Remember that after about the age of 30, your mind can begin to lag a little bit cognitively. Brain games help more long term rather than waiting until you see or feel brain issues, so start playing now. Improve memory games are one of many ways adults can exercise their brains and keep focus, memory or thought processing skills. So relax , intermingle, do crosswords, teasers and other brain improvement games all the time observing your improved brain performance.

A couple common changes in a persons diet as they age are that they will eat less of course and making sure there is nothing they eat that might react with any medications they are taking. Stress often times can control your life, harming your body as well as your brain. You cannot remove all stress from your life, but you can eliminate as much of it as possible. Then you need to decide how to deal with the rest of the stress, by having as much pleasantries in your life as you can too. Don't let stress take a stranglehold on your life and longevity. Too much stress can lead to depression easier the older you get.

Your brain produces hormones to help you deal with some of the stress, but when too many of the hormones are produced damage can result to your nerve cells. What could be a problem here is if hormones are made too fast and a high quantity depression can form.

You have to relieve any stress that is causing you a problem someway as stress is tough on anyone to endure. You need to get the things off your mind that you can't control, and just concentrate on what you can control. Treat yourself being happy enjoying a hobby or activity you love so that you can actually get lost in the moment and thus relax and de-stress. Have fun and Be Happy !

As you age more time will be needed to address your health concerns. It can be a challenge at times to change, but this can relax you from stress, and help your brain to function better through a chance to learn a new way of doing things.

is the Sure Grip Saddle Seat safe?

I have a light case of spina bifida which makes my lower back and thigh muscles not the greatest. i have a slight issue staying in place in the saddle. I barrel race and have done so for a few years. and its never really been an issue. But now i have a faster horse that makes tighter and faster turns than i cant really sit and feel comfortable without sliding and feeling like i'm coming out of the saddle. This has had a small impact on my confidence. I love barrel racing but i'm constantly sliding in the saddle now that more horse has more torque.

I came across the Sure Grip Saddle seat online and before i try it i want to know if any of you have tried it? Is it safe and does it work? I worry that if something happen the leg wraps wont come loose and may be a major hazard. Is this a safe thing to use?

I personally have not tried it but when I was barrel racing, there were several people (kids and adults) that did use it and I never saw them have any trouble using it. I have also seen people still come out of the saddle while using one, so it won't keep you "stuck" to the saddle if something happens and you need to get off quickly. I suggest you get one and try it at home going slowly around the pattern or even on a trail ride at first. Don't use it the first time at a show because you need to see how you're going to feel while using it. Once you're comfortable using it at home, then maybe try an exhibition run with it- don't go full speed but let your horse just kind of cruise through the pattern. I'm not sure I'd like the feeling of my legs being kind of confined but since I've never tried one, I'm not sure how it would feel. If your comfortable while at home and while doing an exhibition run, then I'd say use it. If it doesn't work out, you can resell it on ebay or craigslist but I think it's worth trying.
