Rubber Stamps Have Come a Long Way
One of the smallest and overlooked devices in offices today is the rubber stamp. While many people feel they no longer need rubber stamps, they are still quite useful. Rubber stamps have a wide variety of applications that business types and even artists can benefit from.
Address stamps make is easier to mail large quantities of packages or letters. Despite the numerous advancements in email and electronic messaging many businesses still send out hard copies of paperwork such as pay checks, invoices, and contracts.
Rather than having to write the company's address each time you can simply stamp it saving countless hours. Even printing out the address out on stickers can be wasteful because it uses up a lot of paper and ink. Ink for a printer can be quite costly while stamp ink is rather inexpensive.

get an awesome website, and have the webmaster promote it like crazy. Then make yourself a business card that looks totally awesome (using your art) and put your web address on it. Go to galleries and art shows and pass it out... but use it like you're just sharing your contact info, not like you're desperate to have your work up in a gallery. Make friends with other artists (of all types! I've heard of people getting gallery shows due to having musician friends... like doing combo music/art shows).
Basically, just cultivate the sort of creative energy that attracts interest.
It's all about capitalizing on genuine interest, not about generating interest to meet economic goals. A subtle but important difference.
